As the premier advisory body to the Government of Tamil Nadu, the State Planning Commission has been at the forefront of fostering innovation in public service delivery since 2015 through the Tamil Nadu Innovation Initiatives (TANII). The Commission, under the TANII initiative has recommended nearly 400 innovative projects spanning across various departments of the State Government to create a culture of innovation in governance.
