Electric Vehicles Policy 2023(Sectoral)

Electric Vehicles play a crucial role in the electrification of last mile connectivity.  This EV Policy 2023 policy aims to transform Tamil Nadu into the preferred destination for EV manufacturing in South-East Asia; accelerate adoption of EVs in Tamil Nadu; enhance the development of the EV ecosystem in Tamil Nadu; and develop EV cities in Tamil Nadu. This policy has a vision of attracting Rs.50000 crore worth of investments in EV manufacturing, creation of 1.5 lakh new jobs and the development of robust EV ecosystem in the state,
