To meet the rising energy demand, it is crucial to enhance the share of clean energy resources in the fuel mix to ensure sustainable economic growth.  City or local natural gas distribution network means an interconnected network of gas pipelines and associated equipment used for transporting natural gas. This State Level City Gas Distribution policy aims to promote the adoption of natural gas by the State as a green and clean fuel and to increase the coverage of CGD infrastructure across Tamil Nadu.
