Tamil Nadu Life Sciences Promotion Policy 2022(Sectoral)

Life Sciences industry is an umbrella term for companies, businesses, and research institutions engaged in areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical textiles, biotechnology, and biomedical technologies.  The State being an exceptional performer in the healthcare sector has recognised the importance of the Life Sciences sector and its contribution to improving healthcare and quality of life.  This Policy aims to transform Tamil Nadu into an attractive destination for manufacturers in Life Sciences to invest, innovate, and create Life Sciences products and strives to attract Rs. 20,000 crores of investment in Life Sciences and generate 50,000 jobs.
