Draft Policy on Waste Management

Rapid population growth and urbanization are leading to the creation of more waste than ever before. The production of goods and services is also increasing, leading to more waste generation in both urban and rural areas. The problem of waste generation is further exacerbated by the lack of proper waste disposal mechanisms.  This has resulted in environmental pollution, health hazards, and other negative effects on both humans and animals. This draft policy is aimed at improving waste management practices and promoting the reuse of recycled waste to minimize the impact of waste on the environment.
